The program is an opportunity to work closely with major airlines and understand how Kairos can support a sustainable future for the aviation sector.
We’re thrilled to announce that Kairos has been accepted into the IAGi Accelerator (formerly Hanger 51) the innovation programme of International Airlines Group (IAG). Through the IAGi Accelerator, IAG fast-tracks the testing and implementation of new technologies by connecting startups directly with its airlines and operating companies. Through its Discover track, the program supports startups focusing on carbon removal, sustainable aviation fuel, single-use plastic alternatives, and fuel efficiency. This aligns directly with IAG’s broader drive to meet its net-zero goals, having committed to reaching net zero by 2050.
For Kairos, this is an opportunity to learn firsthand how some of the world's largest airlines are thinking about carbon removal solutions, and explore how our technology might fit within those needs. Over the next six months, we'll work closely with the team at IAGi to gather insights and align our approach with the needs of the aviation sector.
We’re excited to begin this journey with IAG, to scale our impact, and to help shape a sustainable future for aviation.
